Sydney CBD, Permanent Full-Time
Salary range: $88,076 - $96,217 p.a.
Total Remuneration Package valued up to: $106,416 p.a.
The Senior Research Officer is responsible for undertaking research into crime and criminal justice issues and for evaluating the impact of criminal justice programs on crime and re-offending.
Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualifications in social or behavioural sciences, with an honours degree or higher;
Demonstrated understanding of multivariate statistical analyses;
Experience with statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS, SAS, Stata) and experience working with large datasets;
Ability to write research reports to a standard suitable for peer-review publications;
Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines for concurrent projects;
Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate concepts to a non-technical audience.
