Remuneration: The likely appointment will be around $100K

As well as BAU work, there are some new and innovative things happening which this position will have involvement in, including looking at how the organisation presents its statistics to the public.

We are looking for someone who:

is a strong all-round Statistician with very creditable statistical skills; loves numbers, mathematics and statistical modelling

holds a postgraduate qualification, ideally in Statistics, otherwise in Mathematics / Science / related discipline involving quantitative methods

has solid knowledge in the application of quantitative analysis techniques

enjoys sharing their knowledge across the team, to develop individuals' skills and strengths

is convincing and comfortable presenting to small groups both internally and externally

is self-managing, good with deadlines

has worked within the public sector.
