Position Overview

The Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Applied Statistics is seeking to appoint up to two highly qualified Lecturers in the field of Statistics. You will be joining a dynamic team of academics with a focus on achieving excellence in research and teaching. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the capacity to research and teach at the interface between Applied Statistics and Finance.

You will have strong research and teaching capabilities and will be expected to make a strong contribution to obtain external funding, as well as attract and supervise research students. We seek applicants with the potential for excellence in research, an ability to attract competitive research funding and a commitment to, and enjoy, face-to-face teaching. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who will coordinate and teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Applications should have completed a PhD in Statistics.
