About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded organisation that aims to make Australians more MedicineWise. In this Full-Time role, you will be responsible for the design and evaluation of research studies that aim to assess NPS MedicineWise's program impact on drug utilisation, health and economic outcomes at a national level.
You will use you skills to manage health economic studies, and to provide advice around new strategies and approaches to demonstrate the value of NPS MedicineWise programs. This role will also give you the opportunity to undertake data analyses and communicate study findings to internal and external audiences.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualifications in health care, health economics, statistics or epidemiology.
Postgraduate qualifications in health economics.
2 to 5 years experience conducting health economic studies/evaluations.
Track record of health economic publications or health economic submissions to Government (desirable).
Statistical analysis skills and experience in the use of statistical and data management Software SAS or Stata.
Experience in the use of health economic software TreeAge (desirable).
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
The ability to work in a team and manage projects.
About the team
The Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacoeconomics team is located in Sydney and consists of Epidemiologists and Statisticians.
