About the opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Full-Time Epidemiologist to join the Evaluation team at NPS MedcineWise. This role will enable you to be involved in the design and conduct of research studies using a range of methods to assess NPS MedicineWise's programs impact on drug utilisation and health outcomes at the national level. You will also have the opportunity to undertake data analyses and communicate your findings to internal and external audiences.
About you
Postgraduate training in epidemiology, public health, or other relevant fields.
Good understanding of epidemiological methods.
Experience of critical appraisals and literature reviews.
Experience as an investigator for medium and/or large epidemiological studies.
Experience using SAS or SPSS or other statistical packages.
Experience in drug utilization studies or studies relevant to quality use of medicines (desirable).
Track record of publications in peer reviewed journals (desirable).
Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
About the team
The Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacoeconomics team is located in Sydney and consists of Epidemiologists, Statisticians and a health economist.
