Academic Level B/C: $81,290 - $114,612 plus 17% superannuation
Full-time, ongoing position commencing January 2014 based at the Hawthorn campus

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Statistics position will be responsible for:
Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Statistics (a discipline grouping within Psychological Sciences and Statistics)
Providing supervision to Masters and/or PhD students within Statistics
Participating in the research of the Faculty
Assisting in the development of initiatives within the Statistics discipline
Skills and Experience
The successful incumbent will possess:
An earned doctoral qualification in statistics
Advanced knowledge in applied statistics
Substantial experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development
Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and excellence in developing subjects or programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and in subject and student management
Demonstrated expertise in research and publication in statistics or related disciplines at the National level
