Analysis of geo-referenced primary health care outcomes using practice level data

Scholarship Description

The availability of primary health care (PHC) services and their accessibility within catchment areas are determinants of use in the community. Early utilisation of PHC services by patients is related to favourable health outcomes. This research will explore the questions of travel and transport in access to PHC services, the distance and localisation of PHC services, and effects on health outcomes and burden of disease across metropolitan Adelaide. It will use practice level data in examining geospatial aspects of primary health care, health outcomes and its correlates.
