The Centre for Research Excellence in Women's Health in the 21st century (CREWH21) requires a motivated and enthusiastic Research Fellow. The successful applicant will be expected to undertake research into health and other service use by Australian women with a particular emphasis on reproductive health; cardiovascular, musculoskeletal or mental health problems; or ageing. Publication in international peer reviewed journals, submission of grant applications, and presentations at conferences are important expectations of the position.
The person
Candidates must have a PhD in epidemiology, public health, statistics, psychology, medicine, sociology or another relevant discipline is essential and strong skills in the organisation and statistical analysis of large scale, longitudinal data bases. A track record in a relevant field of research, including publications in high impact journals and success with competitive grants is desirable.
Remuneration
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for 12 months at Academic Level B based at the UQ Herston campus, with a possibility of renewal pending funding.
The remuneration package will be in the range $83,904.14 to $99,635.89 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $98,167.85 to $116,574 p.a.).
