A vacancy exists for a Research Officer within the Biostatistics Unit in the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences.

The Biostatistics Unit is a strategic collaborative research unit for the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences. The Unit provides collaborative support to Faculty Researchers and postgraduate students; training in the form of supervision, formal teaching and workshops; and pursues its own methodological research. The current vacancy exists for a Research Officer to be involved in a range of projects at design, data management, analytical planning and data analytical stages. The projects can be descriptive, observational or experimental, and belong mainly but not exclusively to the fields of human health, sports and environmental sciences.

The Research Officer position requires someone with an appropriate background in biostatistics or statistics, excellent written and oral communication skills, and relevant qualifications and experience.
