POSITION AT UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, SYDNEY

A post-doctoral fellow position in statistical methodology, theory and computing is available for commencement in or after early 2015.

The position is funded by the Australian Research Council Discovery Project:

SEMIPARAMETRIC REGRESSION FOR STREAMING DATA

Chief investigator: Professor Matt Wand
Length of position: 3 years
Location: School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Technology, Sydney, City Campus (Broadway), Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Essential criteria:

Doctoral degree in Statistics.

Familiarity with the R computing environment.

Desirable criteria:

Familiarity with hierarchical Bayesian models.

Familiarity with the Stan and/or BUGS computing environment.

Familiarity with C and/or Fortran programming.

Track record of published work in the English language.
