The Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research (CHSSR) is an internationally leading multi-disciplinary research facility and is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic biostatistician to contribute to a range of research projects across the Centre. The successful applicant with be required to develop and apply statistical models and methods and undertake data processing and statistical analyses of complex clinical error and observational datasets. The successful candidate will be required to provide advice about, and participate in, the design of analysis strategies for a range of research studies including the analysis of large administrative health datasets, as well as prepare research publications, presentations and grant applications.
We are seeking an applied biostatistician who is interested in working in a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders within the health system. The successful applicant will continue to develop and expand their own research strengths and interests, particularly as they align with the Centre's research programs.

Salary Package: Post doctoral Research Fellow (Level A) base salary $64,402-$86,719, Research Fellow (Level B) base salary $91,403-$108,146 plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. Pro-rata rates apply for part-time appointments.
Appointment type: Full-time or part-time fixed term position, for 3 years.
