    The Client

    This big data analytics agency provides a wide range of data, insights and action services to help their clients turn raw data into actionable insights. They are an innovative company who is always on the lookout for new ways of doing things. They offer exposure to a growing list of interesting blue chip clients and have highly flexible working hours. They are a young start-up with a “work hard, play hard” company culture.

    The Position

    Working closely with the Head of Insights, you will assist in the analysis and reporting of complex analytics and marketing data sets as well as managing insights team workloads and scoping project requirements. The primary purpose of this role is to leverage deep data assets (customer and web analytics) to develop an actionable understanding that will inform, drive and grow client business. This is not a dry or back room role.... This team possesses a passion for discovery, innovation, and the power of analytics.

    The Requirements

    We would love to hear from you if you can offer the following:

  • Extensive experience with at least one language such as R, SPSS, SAS, STATA or Matlab
  • Experience with large & complex datasets
  • Advanced statistical analysis skills including multivariate techniques
  • Experience with dirty data: collecting, shaping and combining raw data into structured datasets
  • Demonstrated understanding of SQL
  • A genuine interest in marketing and/or web analytics
  • Proven ability to turn data into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders
  • Problem solving, lateral thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

    Whilst not essential, it would be nice if you also have:

  • A sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Experience in dashboard design and development
  • Hands on experience with Tableau software
  • Experience with Omniture or Google Analytics.
