Honours, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Opportunities in Bioinformatics in the Gene & Stem Cell Therapy Program

Applications are invited for aspiring scientists who wish to explore questions at the interface between human biology and informatics. Our lab has discovered a new mechanism of widespread gene expression control based on a type of alternative splicing called intron retention (Cell 2013 & Nature 2014).

Candidates with a background in computational biology, molecular engineering and biostatistics are particularly encouraged to apply. Although our work is of wide relevance to biology, we focus on cancer as a University of Sydney priority area and the leading cause of death in Australia.

This is an opportunity to join an established vibrant group of committed researchers, who provide cutting edge facilities and techniques to complement a systems biology approach through informatics. Get some.
