The Data Science Watch group supports the Media department on TV, Radio, Print services & Digital-we support product & methodologies enhancement and new service roll-outs, specializes in sampling design, universe estimation and maintenance, and ensures our survey methodology and design are aligned with global standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing any work related to Quality and Production.
  • Assists in planning & rolling out new or enhanced services & ensure sustainability of new initiatives.
  • Delivers all analysis to support implementation of standards and best practices
  • Work as governing body to ensure accurate methodology & practice within the organization
  • Ability to use statistical methodologies to analyse the data
  • As needed, executes and enables execution of business as usual or new initiatives for the sub-region/multiple countries and ensure delivery on time and per spec.
  • Consults with internal and external clients and helps provide expert technical consultation to solve complex MSci-related issues
  • Ability to use data mining to understand complex situation or market dynamics by using an important amount of data

    Candidates should have a combination of experience and skills including:

  • Minimum of 2 years (senior analyst) of work experience in the survey research industry with hands on experience in developing and executing survey research methodologies.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Engineering or Computer Science with outstanding analytical expertise and strong technical leadership
  • Proficient in MS package, SAS, or other statistical packages.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment
  • A team player
  • Experience working in a computing environment with large datasets and able to integrate across datasets will be advantage
  • Knowledge in programming preferred
