Research Fellow Biostatistician

12 months, full-time position

This position at the Centre of Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne), is jointly funded by the Melbourne Clinical and Translational Sciences Platform (MCATS) (0.5FTE) and National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) (0.5FTE).

The successful applicant for this position will build research capability in biostatistics across the Melbourne Academic Centres for Health (hospitals and research centres) and be the primary statistician for the Australian Chlamydia Control Effectiveness Pilot trial (ACCEPt), a cluster randomised controlled trial of a chlamydia testing intervention with150 general practice clinics in 54 towns across four Australian states enrolled.
