PhD opportunity in sports injury and biostatistics
at the Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP)

Federation University Australia, through its Australian Centre for Research into Injury in Sport and its Prevention (ACRISP) is offering a PhD scholarship for a motivated and high calibre candidate. Applicants must have a background in quantitative epidemiology, biostatistics or related areas, with strong mathematical skills. The successful candidate will undertake research into either a) monitoring of catastrophic injury/adverse health events associated with sport and fitness activities or b) the epidemiology of recurrent sports injury.

ACRISP is recognised as Australia's premier sports injury prevention research centre, and is part of the International Olympic Committee's Medical Research Network. We expect all PhD candidates to contribute to our strong research team culture by committing to full time research and a willingness to spend at least half of this time physically in Ballarat. The successful applicant will begin their research program in mid-2015.
