    The Position

    Reporting to the Head of Client Insights, you will help turn client's business issues into insightful and actionable recommendations. You will be relied upon to conduct analysis and interpretation of primary research, collation of secondary research, production of research reports and presentations on behalf of Australia's largest financial institutions. The role demands strong critical thinking skills and judgement as well as the ability to provide credible input at the strategic and operational levels of the business.

    Ideally you will be ambitious and keen to learn and use the following analytical tools: price elasticity, driver analysis, correlation coefficients, regression analysis, KANO analysis, performance quadrants, pareto analysis, statistical significance analysis, SWOT analysis, customer journey analysis, choice modelling.

    The Requirements

    The successful candidate will have at least 2 years market research experience (agency or client side) and relevant tertiary qualifications. Additional experience in a financial services industry is highly desirable. You will also bring:

  • Strong quantitative analytical skills with an advanced understanding of research methodologies
  • Experience using data and research to deliver customer insights
  • Experience managing primary research from the design stage through to delivery
  • Experience using data/research software such as SPSS and Q
  • Excellent project management experience - managing multiple projects whilst meeting budgets and time lines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and think outside the box.
