  • Health Manager Level 3 - $103,039 - $117,465 (plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading)

    The Cancer Institute NSW is Australia's first state wide cancer control agency, established in 2003 to lessen the impact of cancer across the state. Working at the Cancer Institute NSW means joining a team of committed and dedicated staff who are proud to be a part of the Institute's purpose of overseeing and accelerating the effectiveness of cancer control in NSW.

    The Role

    The role provides expert epidemiological input into the research, monitoring and evaluation activities of the Institute to inform program development and support the achievement of Cancer Plan objectives.

    Essential requirements

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques including survival analysis, generalized linear models, multi-level models and trend analysis
  • Strong computing and analytical skills using databases and statistical programming and software packages such as SAS or similar applications
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in epidemiology, public health, statistics, biostatistics, health information or in a related discipline and postgraduate qualifications in research, or in a similar discipline, at Masters or PhD level
