  • Academic Level C: $105,726 - $121,828 plus 17% superannuation
  • Full-time, ongoing position based at the Hawthorn campus

    A Senior Lecturer in Statistics will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in Statistics, provide supervision to Masters and/or PhD students within Statistics, participate in the research of the Faculty and assist in the development of initiatives within the Statistics discipline.

    Departmental members are involved in both national and international research collaborations and regularly publish in peer reviewed journals across a range disciplines, including. These include: health and medicine, epidemiology, psychology, law, business, statistical education, social sciences and science.

    Skills and Experience

    To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • An earned doctoral qualification in statistics
  • Advanced knowledge in applied statistics
  • Substantial experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and excellence in developing subjects or programs at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and in subject and student management.
