The Opportunity

As a Senior Statistician you will advocate statistical principles. You will work collaboratively with scientists to provide expert advice on statistical methodologies and the interpretation of statistical findings in the design of experiments, as well as providing leadership and support for scientists in the use of statistical tools. In your contribution to science discovery in New Zealand.

You will

Have a postgrad degree. PhD preferable and 5 years subsequent statistical consulting experience

Be proficient in statistical packages such as R, GenStat, SAS

Be engaging with excellent communication skills

Demonstrate the ability to articulate complex technical information to clients

Be willing to up-skill in order to meet the challenge of new scientific data

Have the desire to achieve results and enhance New Zealand Agriculture
