    The Client

    Our client is one of Australia's leading full service agencies; founded close to 25 years ago and recognised as one of the fastest growing privately held market research agencies. They service some of Australia's biggest household names and conduct research for B2B and B2C companies across a wide variety of categories ranging from customer satisfaction, evaluation and tracking, loyalty research, new product development, pricing strategy and modelling and forecasting.

    The Role

    This is a pivotal support and consultancy role within the Statistics Team, working closely with Research Consultants and members of the Data Processing, Operational and Account Servicing Teams. As the main custodian for research methodology of a large research program this role incorporates three areas of responsibility:

  • undertaking ongoing & ad-hoc analyses and reporting of results that preserve data integrity, applying analytical methods such as Shapley Regression and CHAID
  • ensuring the accuracy and reliability of core statistical results, inclusive of sense-checking
  • undertaking R&D for continuous improvement

    This role is suited to an experienced and highly numerate Quant Researcher with a strong understanding of statistics and the ability to analyse data.

    The Requirements

    We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • degree qualifications in Statistics (or advanced quantitative research methods)
  • at least 3 years market research experience (agency or client side)
  • experience in quantitative analysis techniques (preferably on large tracking projects)
  • strong communication skills: written and verbal, including the ability to communicate complex technical results to a broad non-technical audience
  • experience in survey design and analysis
  • strong project management and organisational skills including attention to detail
  • expert working knowledge of Word, Excel & PowerPoint and SPSS (knowledge of R will be highly regarded)
  • experience and aptitude for ensuring quality improvement with a survey research context.
