Clinical Network Services (CNS) is a uniquely integrated service group that supports small to medium sized Biotechs in Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Europe with early development of novel biologicals, drugs and devices in a wide range of clinical indications, ranging from strategic planning and delivery of CMC/non-clinical development programs, to rapid initiation and management of early phase I and II clinical trials in Australia/New Zealand.
Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:
Provide statistical input with respect to clinical trial design, number of subjects, key efficacy and safety variables and definitions of endpoints, randomization and blinding, statistical methods, and presentation of data and results (tables, listings, figures).
Contribute to writing of the Protocol, Statistical Analysis plan and other documents
Develop SAS programs for clinical data validation, transformation, presentation and statistical analysis
Undertake statistical analyses of clinical trial data using validated software applications
Interact and liaise with internal stakeholders including business development, regulatory affairs, clinical project management, medical writers, and external stakeholders: biopharmaceutical clients and regulators
Qualifications:
PhD or Masters in statistics with undergraduate in statistics, mathematics, or related field
Proficiency in statistical programming, preferably in SAS and R
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Background/experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology company or CRO environment would be a plus
Background/experience in pharmokinetic analysis/modelling desirable
