A post-doctoral Statistics research position at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia, is available, supervised by Professor Matt Wand.

The position is affiliated with and funded by the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Mathematical and Statistical Frontiers.

The successful candidates will join a vibrant and growing Statistics group within the UTS School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences under the leadership of Professors Louise Ryan and Matt Wand. Professors Peter Green and Raymond Carroll have regular visiting appointments and routinely collaborate with group members.

UTS is a young, dynamic and ambitious university in the heart of Sydney. Sydney is a cosmopolitan city with a mild climate, spectacular geography and a myriad of dining and entertainment options.

The job location is a few minutes walk from Sydney's Central Railway Station. This provides a convenient link to the areas of Sydney served by its extensive railway network.
