    Located in the School of Science and Technology, this role requires a commitment to scholarly research and quality teaching. Statistics at UNE takes a multi-disciplinary form, and is a key part of the Computational Science major in the Bachelor of Science, the Applied Modelling major in the Bachelor of Computer Science, and postgraduate offerings in Applied Statistics and Quantitative Ecology (beginning 2017).

    The successful appointee for this position will be able to teach across a broad range of statistics classes, ranging from large first-year service classes to specialised classes delivered in on- and off-campus education modes.

    Applicants should have an interest in multi-disciplinary scientific research and ideally be trained in Statistics with experience in collaborative research projects, or a scientist who has substantial and advanced statistical modelling experience.
