Post Doctoral Research Fellow

The Centre for Healthcare Resilience and Implementation Science (CHRIS) is part of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, and has a successful track record of undertaking research and evaluation projects on health sector issues since 1991. The Centre is seeking a Post Doctoral Research Fellow to assist with research involving health outcomes, including outcomes following paediatric and adult injury and adverse patient safety events.

Essential Criteria

  • PhD in a health-related discipline (i.e. public health, health services research, psychology)
  • Demonstrated research track record in the field of population health
  • Demonstrated skill and experience using SAS for health data analysis
  • Demonstrated track record of effective team work
  • Demonstrated experience with report writing, including peer-reviewed publications.

    Desirable Criteria

  • Experience managing research projects.
  • Experience writing grant applications and ethics applications.
  • Experience with analysis of linked data collections.

    Salary Package: Post Doctoral Research Fellow (Level A) base salary $85,845-$92,000, plus 9.5% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading.

    Appointment type: Full time, 1 year fixed term.
